The valve is then crimped into position to form a seal by the Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) Filling Machine crimper. The propellant is then injected under pressure through the valve into the can by the Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) Filling Machine propellant filler.  Using this method, the mixing of the concentrate and propellant takes place in the can rather than in the bulk formulation tank.
