For the aerosol laboratory Solmatic offer table top machines including an aerosol Product Filler, a pneumatic Crimping Machine for 1″ aerosol valves, a Pneumatic Aerosol Gas Filling Machine, and a BOV Aerosol Filling Machine. 

The semi-automatic pneumatic Aerosol Crimping machine for 1″ aerosol valves can be fully safety guarded. The machine can crimp both tinplate and aluminium valves. The range of container heights for crimping is 55 to 330mm, and for container diameters up to 75mm. A vacuum head is available for formulations that need vacuum crimping.

The semi-automatic pneumatic Aerosol Gas Filling Machine is a safe and compact unit complete with safety guard and low level extraction duct for connecting to  the customer’s ventilation system. The volume range is 0-420 ml and a smaller cylinder 0-50ml can be provided if requested. There is manual height adjustment for all sizes of aerosol cans.

The semi-automatic BOV Aerosol Filling Machine is ideal for producing BOV samples and for small to medium production runs. The machine is fully safety guarded. Work stations include UTC (under the cup) Crimper/Gas Filler and TTV (through the valve) Product filler. The propellant gas used inn BOV (Bag-on-valve) Filling Machines is usually compressed air or nitrogen, so the machine does not have to be installed in a special room.
