Test Bath

Aerosol Water Test Baths

The use of the Automatic Test Bath is the traditional method of checking the tightness of the crimped valve. The test bath consists of the main water tank, loading and unloading turret, and a control cabinet. Filled aerosol cans are immersed in water at 60°C for 3 to 5 minutes. Leaking containers are removed from the production line. After leaving the test bath, the containers are dried with a stream of air under high pressure. Solmatic offer three different sizes of test bath to meet individual line speed requirements These are for testing at 60, 80 or 120 cans per minute

Checkweigher
Automatic Checkweigher

For line speeds up to 60 cpm.  The checkweigher has touch screen control and automatic ejection of underweight cans

Gas Presence Sensor

The gas detector is equipped with 8 gas sensors that study the gas spectrum. If a gas leak is detected the can is ejected from the line.
